TYHEE LAKE, BIRD WATCHING and NATURALISTS

Will love this stunning area with its abundance of wild animals, birds, wild flowers, glaciers, etc. We can point you in the right direction to go “Photo Hunting”.
Tyhee Lake -only ¼ mile to this lake. Beaches for swimming and water sports. It also has an easily accessible viewing platform for bird watching. Regular talks are given by the Rangers on Natural Topics of the area.

WILDERNESS HIKING
Have you seen our striking Alpine Flower Meadows? Or Twin Falls and Glacier Gulch. Five thousand feet above, one can still see the receding Kathlyn Glacier, a glacier that carved a 2-kilometre wide gorge into Hudson Bay Mountain. Hikes of all types are here for you.
FISHING
Chinock are running through June and August
Pinks are to be caught Mid August onwards
Coho are for you in September

Steelhead – the king of fishing – are here from September
RIVER RAFTING
One of the best days of my life was spent on this trip through our rivers. Well organized, good rests and great picnic. We saw two black bears, eagles galore and a mountain goat. What a day – Starts at about $75 for half a day…Can be arranged with another activity….ASK US – FUN FOR ALL
MOUNTAIN BIKING
All types of Trails and Events are here to welcome you. Behind the railway, is a bluff area with jumps and expert trails. Call Lake is easy riding. It’s a great area for anyone interested in Mountain Biking.
HORSEBACK RIDING
Riding in our wilderness is wonderful. Our horse riding outfitters will match ride with your abilities
CANOEING & KAYAKING
Did you bring your canoe or kayak? Only the experienced should transcend the Bulkley River but if you are – this is for you. We can drop your vehicle further down river for your convenience. Or perhaps you would prefer to go with a guided tour. 6 people minimum). That can be arranged this aswell.
