Fishing in British Columbia
The Bulkley River is considered by many fishing experts to be one of the premier rivers in the world. The Steelhead fishing is said to be the finest in North America.
Do you know that 70% of the Salmon/Steelhead in the Bulkley River will be going past your door. Millions of them – waiting for you!!!
- Chinook (Spring Salmon) are running through June, July and August
- Pinks are to be caught mid June onwards
- Coho are here mid August to end of September
- Steelhead – the king of fishing – are here from September to November – This year the fishing has been aswesome
Your Equipment
We can arrange boat rentals and point you in the right direction for suppliers of the equipment you need. We are also in contact with the best fishing guides and are happy to liase for your trip.
If you have your own boat, we’ll drop you off at the beginning of your day and collect you, down river later with your rig. Shuttles are charged at very reasonable rates
To save any delays, we can arrange, from the Lodge, your fishing license for you.
Luggage Retrieval
- Sometimes waders & other heavy equipment are “bumped” from your flight. It can leave the first days of your trip frustrating, wasting valuable vacation time.
Don’t let this happen to you. Send your luggage or even your float boats to us prior to your trip. We will store them in our heated store rooms ready and waiting for your arrival.
- All of our units have kitchens but we love to do BBQ’s – about every 10 days or so – for our Fishermen around the Firepit where you can all share your tales.
